I had a great time at an inspiring and informative event!
I hope whatever my future career will be, get a chance to practice "Science Communication".
Women in Science Japan had the first flagship event, I am happy that I could volunteer and had a small role in organizing the online portion. Being part of the WISJ community is giving me the chance to meet many inspiring women in STEM, and learn from them.
check out the website, ping me if you would like to discuss / any question:

Once again Nozomi-san invited me to join the students at Chikushi, this time we enjoyed lots of games and eventually Trick or Treating in the neighborhood! I had lots of Oishimono!
As the weather was super lovely, in October; I got the chance to join two field trips with Gakuseitachi. We had SDGs and Global design field exploration in Fukuoka. Our girls from Fukuoka eventually prepared a group presentation about "How to make Fukuoka more internationalized and enhance global design?", our group(I was joining them as a mentor and 6 students) was selected and achieved the best presentation award among their classmates.
I didn't do much, to be honest and fair but It was a great chance for me to explore Fukuoka through the eyes of locals.
Then in late October, I had a quick trip to Kumamoto, The students from High school from Nara came to visit Kyushu, and we had a day trip exploring Kumamoto together. I enjoyed the conversations with them. we had discussions about "One Piece ", "Tourism in Japan" and their "dream careers".
I have joined students at an English cram school in Chikushi! We had short lessons, and although they were only 6-11 years old, they could speak English, and I had so much fun!

This summer has brought me incredible opportunities!
I attended a summer school program focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Social Entrepreneurship, hosted by Kyushu University in collaboration with the Grameen Bank.
One of the highlights of this course was the opportunity to attend a lecture by Professor Muhammad Yunus, a Nobel Laureate for Peace.

On 20th September, I was invited as a teaching assistant/guest, to a workshop at ONO pharmaceutical company. The topic was English communications in international meetings. The participants were super kind, I was initially feeling a bit shy as I was younger than the participants. They all were super kind so I could feel comfortable after a few minutes. I hardly can say if I have done any tutoring! I learned a lot from all of them. PLUS 👻 I had a chance to talk with the fascinating researchers who are working at the company about their working lifestyle. It is rare and valuable to meet someone in the industry and discuss their decisions and career choices with them.

Back on track! I was at a school in Nakagawa city for an "English practice event" with around 40 other ALTs from around the world. It was an amazing opportunity that felt like a United Nations meeting 😄, and I had a lovely chat with the school principal; he is a world traveler, and he had visited Iran before, It was the first time I met a Japanese who visited Iran, and I was super glad (+ relieved ) to hear he had enjoyed his trip.
